KATHLEEN (KATHY) THIROLF, CCIM, has worked over the last twenty-five years in the commercial and residential real estate market in Atlanta, Georgia. She was employed from 1985 to 1989 by First Union Bank in their commercial construction real estate division. Her responsibilities included administration, lending, and asset management. Following this, she worked as a land development manager for Continental Financial Corporation, for their residential and commercial development building subsidiaries; and for Workman & Company specializing in retail related projects ranging from management of new development and construction, arrangement of financial transactions to leases and investment/partnership agreements. She has been associated with Wheeler/Kolb Management Company since 1993. She has focused on marketing property ranging in size from small out-parcels to large tracts of acreage at Town Center Mall, Gwinnett Place Mall, the Mall at Stonecrest as well as other properties located throughout metro Atlanta. Other projects involve working with end-use retailers such as QuikTrip, and other retail or mixed-use properties and developers in evaluating and selecting site locations.
